Evidence and original explanation
Guides use primary consumer-finance, investor, regulator and local-government resources where relevant. The prose and worked scenarios are written for the question being explained, rather than copied from a source. External citations appear only on guide pages. Calculator and state pages point to those guides internally.
Numbers have a stated role
Illustrative inputs are labeled as examples. They are not presented as live rates, state averages or lender quotes. Calculated examples use the same mathematical assumptions described in the methodology. A projection is not labeled as a forecast.
Revision and attribution
The displayed date identifies the latest content revision. References retain their publisher and original title. Older material is identified when it is used for an enduring concept rather than current requirements, so readers can judge its relevance.
Corrections
A useful correction identifies the page, the disputed claim or input, and supporting evidence. The contact page describes the available publisher contact status. Claims that cannot be supported should be narrowed or removed rather than assigned a fabricated reference.
